Chris Pirillo and his Personal Brand Development...

    by Jame (personal)

    I'm pretty impressed.

I mentioned before that a possible "metric" to measure how effective you are at developing your personal brand might be to monitor how your name ranks in Google on a straight search.

Mine for instance: "Jame Healy" ranks #1 on Google, but is that any real surprise?  For one, the name "Jame" is not that common, and "Jame Healy" certainly can't be very common (can it?).

However I was listening to a recent podcast (on The Chris Pirillo Show) where he mentioned that if you Google "Chris" he is pageranked #1.  With a name as common as "Chris" that is quite the feat.

Heck... I can't even get "Jame" in the top 5 (currently #8)!  I guess I have to keep working on it.  Good job Chris!

Heh, that is hugely impressive for a name like "Chris".

Don't feel too bad about #8 for Jame --- I have a similarly atypical first name, and yet, no links until page . . . . FIVE.

I've got work to do. !
