Random sample of feeds I read... | BTS installation woes confirmed to be a thing of the past...by Jame (personal)BTS 2004 certainly isn't as straight-forward for a lot of Microsoft Platform solutions developers who are used to "next, next, next deployment" (is this a new phrase?... I just got that from Don Box's blog on the same subject...). Anyway, after having worked with Uday Bhaskara of the BTS product group recently, and after having tried out the BTS 2006 installation process myself, I am quite honestly impressed. Even though our organization specializes in "Business Integration" using Microsoft technologies and platform products, we have in-house install/deploy specialists as a result of the challenges found there. I guess emotionally I'm split: part of me is sad to see it so "easy" now to deploy BTS as we have spent a lot of time and effort developing true expertise in this area (and a 50 page install manual that is "idiot proof"... or should I say "bullet proof" to show for it), but on the other hand this will encourage the ubiquitous use of BTS in the enterprise (which should mean further growth in our target market). I guess we win either way when Microsoft makes these kinds of advancements. technorati: biztalk | donbox | sunaptic Jame's blog | 1322 reads
